Your name isn't TeRrie by chance, is it? Are you considering adding Biewers to your breeding too?

[QUOTE=BamaFan121s;2004530]Your name isn't TeRrie by chance, is it? I stick to the Yorkies only, I would never cross breed such a beautiful dog with a Yorkie.

I know two of Kathy's splitter yorkies were imported from Germany and are registered with German registries.

Hi. This is Anna. Her father is a biewer, registered in Germany, and her mother is an AKC registered yorkie. I registered Anna with IBC, a German Registry. Juliet

Biewers actually derived from standard Yorkies (depending on who you ask, I guess). Breeding a standard Yorkies back into a Biewer line is actually pretty common. There are some involved w/ Biewers who have stopped the practice and only breed Biewer to Biewer, but doing such is not at all outlandish, pretty common.

TeRrie--got your PM...I think maybe there has been some confusion so I'll answer it here to clear it up. I live near Bessemer--grew up in the adjoining town, did lots of rescue work in the area--larger breeds then--still do to an extent. Used to do alot w/ Bessemer animal control and knew everyone wh ran the local shelter. I recognized your name as I do many of the breeders in the area. So in a sense I don't 'know' you personally...jut know "of" you I guess you could say. Welcome to YT. Why don't you share more about your fur kids and your breeding program.
