| What is considered normal post-labor bleeding? (Kiwi) What is considered a normal/abnormal amount of discharge after labor? I was holding Kiwi in my lap and when I got up I noticed there was blood on me, much more than a smear, but certainly not a puddle or anything. I checked her, and she's got quite a bit caked around her behind and what looks like a small clot matted in her hair. Also, she's not going #2 much. She did a little bit yesterday, but not nearly what she normally does. Should she be back to her normal amounts? Last edited by darlingdinkies; 05-21-2008 at 05:44 AM. |

| Oops forgot to mention... For those of you who haven't followed my previous posts, Kiwi had a c-section early Monday morning to deliver a singleton. |
