Peeka Boo I See You! Donating Member | If you are not comfortable with the situation you should call or head to your vet right away. If your vet is closed go to the emergency vet. Better safe then sorry. I hope evrything is ok and goes well. Good luck and i hope some of the breeders are on to help.

My Tiny Treasures Donating Member | Has the baby latched on yet? Is he warm and breathing? I'm assuming that he is out of the sak and cleaned off and his cord has been cut? |

| Keep the baby warm, and keep trying to get him to nurse from his Mom. Did you weigh him? Is she still contracting? Does he seem OK? |

My Tiny Treasures Donating Member | If he is warm and completly clear of mucus, put him on a nipple. One thing that has worked for me is rubbing some of my own saliva on the nipple and then they will latch on. Just enough to make it wet. |

My Tiny Treasures Donating Member | With the heating pad...keep it on low and do not put the baby directly on the pad. Put a towel over the pad. |

My Tiny Treasures Donating Member | Is the pup nursing? Does she seem to be pushing any more? Do you know if there are more babies? Also, if the pup is nursing, it will help bring on the contractions. |
