My Tiny Treasures Donating Member | Record keeping...do you use a software or no? I've been using the Breeders Standard now for over a year and love it. But with my new mac I'm not finding something compatible. So for those who don't use software like me....how do you keep your record keeping on your computer??? For example...I can pull up when I gave shots, heats, litters, health...anything I want in my software and if I can't find something compatible I'm going to have to use something else and I'm looking fo ideas |

| Breny.....I do not use any software but have considered doing it. I keep the form required by AKC for each dog I own. All other information like breeding dates, dates of shots, due dates, etc., I write on a calendar and that calendar I keep by my computer, at the end of the year it goes in my files. It is just convenient for me to look at a glance which dogs are due to come in heat and when the dues are, etc. Have you looked at what AKC has to offer online for free? I need to check that out. |

My Tiny Treasures Donating Member | Yeah, I looked at that but was hoping to use a software instead of the internet. But I can look at it again I guess. I love my new Mac BUT I see its like starting over! argh! I hope to get ideas from you all on what you use to track everything. I guess I could make something up in a spread sheet for each dog too. |

| That is a fantastic idea. I am not so good with excell, but I am a whizz at making nifty tables. I'll see what I can do .... but I would like to have a good software package that would track such things. |

My Tiny Treasures Donating Member | Ya I kinda stink at Excel - can just do basic stuff. I'd love to see if you come up with something! |
