| Sneaky neighbor's dog to blame?? Hi guys, Been a real long time since I've written, but I need some advice, QUICK!! My 6 year old Chloe just gave birth (her 5th litter) to 6 beautiful puppies. Problem is, we changed the sire and all the pups have white on their chests. This is the 1st time that has happened. Like I said, new daddy may pass this on???or did the sneaky neighbor jack russel do a dirty deed?? Please advise. thanks I appreciate any comment!! Lisa

| Congratulations on your new litter. It is very common for Yorkies to have a white spot on their chest. Sometimes I will have a litter where all the pups have a white spot. A white spot that is over 1 inch across is not desirable for showing. Most of the time the white spot will turn to gold or just blend in when the puppy becomes an adult so it is not noticeable. |

| I usually always have white on my babie yorkies chests and sometimes on the feet .Very common. You would think if it was the terrier you would have some other markings ,but you may need to test them and see if they are 100% yorkie if you are unsure of it. |

| All of our pups have had some white on their little chest, and then some have a little on around their face. Once their hair starts grow it will blend in.

| Hi Thanks for the advice...how do you check them? Blood tests at the vet? I heard that it was possible for a litter to be from 2 daddys...is this true? I am a little relaxed in the fact that all the pups have white, not just one, maybe just from the new dad??? Please write back!

| Whew! thanks for the comforting answer, I guess I can put the shot gun away that I was aiming at the Renaldo (jack russell next door!) but we did keep a stringent watch and Chloe is never out alone, but you just never know...other than the white on the chest they all seem exactly the same. Thanks again for the encouragement!!

| My Fancy had her puppies yesterday and I hope I'm getting these numbers right but 4 of them have white and 2 of them don't...it is a very small white but it is there and I know for a fact no other male got to her than my male yorkie Woody. |

| Congratulations!! Thought my Chloe was a record holder in the litter department (she has had 31 puppies in 5 litters-one litter had 7!!) I hope the white comes from the new sire...I am also pretty sure that no other dog got to her but now there is this nagging doubt... I will try and put the pups pics in the gallery for a second opinion. thanks for the encouragement though! Good luck with your new fur family...
