| Cookie's singleton Well I guess he's a singleton since he has no living siblings? He was losing weight, but I think it's turned around now. He weighed 4.2 oz when he was born. Well not exactly when he was born, we had to cut a hole in the deck to get him and Cookie out before I could weigh him. Anyway, I was quite worried. It took quite awhile for her milk to come in and in the meantime he got down as low as 3.4 oz. Tonight, though, he's back up to 3.7 oz. I kept trying to put him on her nipples, but he couldn't or wouldn't latch on. I started letting him suck nutri-cal off my finger tip and then I rubbed nutri-cal on her nipple and he started latching on. I was doing that every couple of hours all last night and today and staying right there to make sure he stayed latched on and sucking. Today he finally started finding the nipple on his own. Maybe I can get some sleep tonight. I was going to make some of that liver broth. I got the liver today, but I have had company all day and haven't been able to make it yet. Do you think I should, now that he's gaining? |

| modeling puppy carrier Here's my grandson Coby and my Caesar. Coby was interested in the puppy carrier so his dad put it on him and put Caesar in it. Caesar and Coby will both be 2 in September LOL I thought I was posting this in the pictures, but I can't delete in so I'll go post it again there with the pictures.
