On second thought...maybe it is 5...I think *maybe* I can still feel 2 more...I'm HORRIBLE at feeling for puppies...I'm never right lol...for all I know she could have 10 more in there and I would think it was 1...

Oh well, I guess I'll just have to wait and see!!

Everybody is nursing...no problems so far. Thank you guys for staying up with us...I'm so exhausted, my eyes are barely open. I was sitting on the bed waiting but I had to get up lol...it was too tempting.

And I just glanced at that other thread you guys are talking about...and all I can say is--->

That poor baby...

You know what I always think of...when somebody says, "oh I just want my dog to have puppies because I want one"...I think of someone forcing their child to have a baby because THEY want a grandchild. Then it sounds horrible, but these ARE my children...It upsets me when someone is that irresponsible, especially after things happen like what happened to my Mikayla and Breny's Meiah. It's like they think we're kidding when we say to BE CAREFUL. "It won't happen to me" or whatever...not true, and there are several FIRST HAND experiences that prove otherwise here. This breeders section can be a WEALTH of knowledge for someone who really cares...unfortunately some don't...

I just feel bad for the little dogs that have to suffer...

I know what you mean. That is the point I have been trying to get across to her. I am trying to keep a positive note to her in my posts in the hopes that she will heed the advice.

No one should ever go into this as "It will never happen to me" Because it will some day, and you will never forget it. You are soo right...I can not believe that someone would want to put their baby though all of the termoil of having babies just for their satifacation. Unfortunatlly your baby is not the only one to suffer in the situations, at the same time it is also the puppies that may have to suffer. It is our job to make sure that all of our babies/puppies have a good quilified home to live out their beautiful lives with lots of love.

well said Sue...isnt the whole point of breeding pure bred yorkies to keep the best standards of the breed going....i may not have said that right but i think you guys know what im trying to say.....what get's me is all these breeders (well not all) but alot of them here in good ole Tennessee...think that everyone wants a ""tiny"" yorkie.....well they need to get the facts...i would never knowingly breed for tinies....tooo many health issues and too high of a mortality risk....these are our babies....and when the time comes and i feel that i am ready to get a female for a breeding mate to my Smokey it will be because i feel that he would be a good sire for the standard of the breed and the same for the Dam....

According to my time it was 10:00 my time and 1 Am your time when the last pup was born. And it is now 11:19... So I guess it it time for the next pup to be coming soon.
