| Please help day 61 My baby Angel is on her 61st day and her temperature is still 99.8. Everyone I talk to says they usually give birth on day 60. (If this is not usually the case please help me to rest my mind.) I work at a radiology office so I figured I would take her to the office and let the ultrasound tech perform an ultrasound on her. They saw 6 possibly 7 little bundles moving around. The large number has got me on edge, my vet said that is a lot for a Yorkie. Please, someone give me some feedback. |

| Most pregnant mommas have their babies anywhere from 61 to 65 days from the first breeding. Some may have them a day or so sooner or some may go longer. The temperature will usually drop to 98 or 99 degrees and stay down 12 to 24 hours before going into labor. When the female goes into labor she will be nesting (digging in bedding), she may throw up some and she may have several bowel movement and she will be very restless. I pray you have a safe whelping. |
