His/Her new forever home, does the new mommy usually keep in contact with you? Do you expect them to?

Jenn, who got my pup Marky promised me she would keep in touch with me and I have not heard hide or hair from her since she left my house.

I have tried emailing her, calling her and left PM's for her, but nothing.

It worries me and I pray Marky is ok.

I have been blessed to hear back from most of the new families complete with pictures. It's wonderful!

I still worry about him

I get updates all the time with new pics..and love it~

I'm blessed that Edith (sexiitc) she keeps me updated on Evie all the time, her and I are such great friends.

But I sure wish Jenn would let me know how Marky is doing, and I would love to see what he looks like...

I have been very lucky also.. and get updates every once in awhile..I do not think it is that big of a deal to send a message out a couple times a year anyway..

I am sorry she just left you like that.. and she is a member here..wow..anne

I email Layla's breeder, roughly 2-3 times a year. Usually on her birthday, at christmas, or if anything happens at the vet that i want her ot know about (ie, her LP). I have asked about Layla's littermates and she said she hasn't heard from either of them and it breaks her heart. Her pups are SUCH an important part of her life while they are with her and to have them leave and never hear from them again is tough for her. Can you make it part of your contract (in the future?)

I have had only one itter so far.........3 out of 4 of the puppy families have stayed in touch with me and I with them with emails & pictures I told them when they bought the pups that I hoped to stay in touch and would be requesting pictures from time to time and none have any problem with it. In fact, the litter turned 6 months old last month and I posted the 6 month pics I received here on YT. The 4th family was an older couple that do not have a computer and do not stay in touch so I must just assume that the puppy is healthy and happy.
I hope to continue this practice with all future litters also.

out of 4 litters Ive had all but one keep in touch. I almost beg them to, ha ha

Our of 10 puppies whelped only 1 won't contact me and I think it may be due to they may of bred her and didn't have our concent. It was in our contract that they not breed her but this is why I think they won't let me know anything about her. But I send birthday cards to all of mine ever single year. Lee

I sent pictures of Conner to the breeder for his first year along with a note letting her know how he was doing. I never heard back from her (although she posted one of his pictures on her website), so I don't send anymore. I would love to hear from her asking for an update on him.

I do not send Gracie's birth family any info. They are more of a byb/puppymill and I have chose not too. I don't know maybe I should I know their home address. I could drop them a card when she turns on May 25 just to let them know how she is.

Austin is going to be 3 soon & I still send his breeder pic's Almost weekly She love's seeing all of my babies Even the none chi one's.
& she get's an email everytime something New happen's.

If i was a breeder i would want to see pic's at least once in a while or at least hear thing's are ok.

I send pictures to KaCee's breeder everything couple months or for milestones like first hair cut, first top knot. Their house is on the way to my parents house, so I plan on stopping by a couple times a year.

I went to visit Brooke's breeder when I vacation in March. I drove down to San Diego to see her. She was thrilled to see Brooke and got teary eyed! I was glad I did it!
