| When should whelping area be ready? I am trying to get ready for the birth of Fancy's pups. I have NOTHING so I figured if I started now I should be good and ready by then. How far in advanced does the whelping area need to be ready? |

Missing Yoshi Everyday! Donating Member | it seems like this will be her first litter so i would recommend getting it ready as soon as you can so you can introduce her to it so she can get comfortable with her environment to ease the process...you don't want to do it to late or else she might now be willing to accept it and have her babies in it...

| i usually put mine together at about two weeks before and then take my female to it for a few hours at time for a few days then put her in it and completely away from the others about a week before. At that time, the only time she ges out is to go potty. |
