First of all, the first thing I noticed was that scrolling "Puppies For Sale!" thing at the top of the page...that just didn't sit right with me. Also has an "open for business" sign on their page with hours. Reputable breeders don't breed as a business...they normally have real jobs and breed as a hobby. Also.."Easter Specials"? Just by looking at the home page, i can tell this is a business...dogs should NEVER be a business

Good things.. says they retire breeding dogs at age of 5 Likes to stay in touch with owners Says they remove any dogs that produce health problems from their breeding program (hope they really do) Sells on limited registration only

Bad things:
Health guarantee against only "life-threatening" hereditary problems Big Loophole there..should be guaranteeing against all hereditary problems whether they are life-threatening or not.
Dogs kept in outdoor kennel...LARGE kennel facitily (although looks clean)
Has a "sales and show" room that looks very pet-store like
13 breeds for sale plus designer puppies

Not someone I'd buy from

No I wouldn't and what I see that I don't like is:
I see 3 lbs females. Mix breeds, Chihuahua page MR Furby looks like his coat is badly urine stained which is very sad Just way too much going on in the way of puppies for sale. Poor quality dogs being bred to more poor quality dogs.

I don't think I've ever looked at a site with that many different breeds before. She says many of the right things on her 'about us' section but it isn't reflected in her dogs (I only looked at the Yorkies). With 13 breeds and several sires and dams of each breed, this is a production facility, no matter how clean and modern. For me, there is no substitute for time spent with your animals (adults and puppies) and she has moved waaaay beyond the point of giving individual attention to anyone.

I wouldn't buy from either and I would recommend people to view the YTCA.ORG to view pics of Yorkies as pups and adults to get an idea of what to look for and you can find breeders in your area on their listing too.

Good Luck

I didn't even take the time to look at all the dogs. I saw what I needed to see on the home page and that was enough to turn me off

Yes, it was obvious from the home page. I was just so surprised to find someone with that much (apparent) knowledge would set up such an enterprise. She should have known to put the brakes on this a long time ago. There must be hundreds of puppies born there every year. Though all the pictures showed a clean facility, this is a puppy mill by any definition.

I didn't think much of the looks of the adult yorkies either. They don't look like good representations of a yorkie. JMO

"Parti colored Yorkies" the real deal. The rarest and most sought-after of today's Yorkshire terrier in today's market are the Parti-color Yorkie puppies, due mainly to the unique coloring.

Give me a break!! Thats just lovely.
UGH

LOL I have to tell you something funny... I was at a show yesterday and a girl walks up with a parti yorkie. We were in the area where the yorkie exhibitors were set up... She proceeds to tell us what a parti yorkie is like we don't know and has flyers trying to sell puppies! I think partis/biewers are pretty..but I'm just telling this story and saying it's funny because she was walking into an area of yorkie show breeders trying to promote her parti yorkie..she was really asking for it.. luckily for her, most of the exhibitors had already left for the day
