| anyone heard of precious little paws? Hi guys, I've been hunting around for reputable breeders near the eastern side of iowa and quad city area and chicago area. I have found a breeder in Milan, Illinois called Precious Little Paws. Has anyone heard of this breeder. After going through petland's mess of a deal with Kylie, we really want to find a great breeder for the future. the website i found was www.preciouslittlepaws.com Thanks all!

| yeah.. i was kinda questioning that myself. Does anyone know anything about Chocolate Yorkies? Are they an actual "breed" like Briewers or !?! I'm just wondering. I have been interested in morkies in the past and just can't decide what I want. i heard that there is another site yorksmorksandmalts.com that is her mother's site!?

Donating YT 10K Club Member | I'd keep looking. First off...I'm not impressed with her breeding females looks. She has females registered with two different registries...apri and akc. Her chocolate male is ckc, two maltese, and the biewer which is not recognized by akc. If you are seeking an AKC registerable puppy....you will not be able to. Other than the chocolate...she doesn't appear to be a yorkie breeder to me unless she is using a stud not on that website. He is a recent addition. Chocolate yorkies are not another breed...they are yorkies with a color deviant. Mating a standard colored yorkie to a chocolate...will probably not result in more chocolate puppies. I am not a fan of guarantees that do not offer refunds only replacement puppies. Liver shunt has become quite an issue in biewer lines. I wouldn't purchase one that did not have genetic testing, nor any yorkie for that matter. I wouldn't purchase from anyone selling "designer" breeds. I don't care what spin they put on it. If I were looking for a mixed breed dog or puppy, I'd go to my local animal shelter...they are filled with them. Good luck!!

| If you want to find a reputable yorkie breeder I highly recommend going to www.ytca.org and looking at their breeder list. These breeders should be following the YTCA's code of ethics. Being on that list does not guarantee they are ethical but its a good starting place...always ask questions. Please don't support unethical breeding by paying a high price for a mixed breed dog. There are plenty of mixes (and purebreds) in shelters and rescues if you want a mix. Don't support a backyard breeder

I'd pass on that breeder also....her guarantee is worthless. Most congenital conditions ARE treatable...whether the puppy survives is another story. Congential heart failure is treatable, lp is treatable, liver shunt is treatable...the list goes on and on... Personally I think her prices are outrageous....especially given her no guarantee, guarantee. Copied and pasted from her guarantee page Purchaser may have this puppy examined by a licensed Veterinarian and call the Seller within 24 hours of receipt of puppy if there is a congenital life threatening, non treatable condition only. Seller warrants the puppy for a congenital life threatening, non treatable condition only

| precious little paws this is first time in any kind of a community forum room. don't have a clue proper etiquette, but here goes. i know alot about precious little paws. i just got a yorkie from them (in november 08) and we were thrilled with them and our doggie. they breed yorkies, morkies, and maltese. they are two really nice women in their 30's, 40's. they work together during the day and found that they both had breeding interests. we visited with them for a few hours after having seen their website and drove the 2 hours to one of their homes. very clean and nice home. we did not see any facilities, but got a good "vibe" from them both. they have a great website, and mean what they say. we had absolutely no issues of any kind, with our dog's health. we keep in touch with these breeders and they have been helpful in sorting out "new puppy" issues that we just plain forgot about. I recently sent them a picture of our sammy and they put him on their website. i nearly cried when i saw it. please remember this is only "our" impression, but we are generally very picky about cleanliness. i would buy another dog from this breeder. but not until i get past the "puppy stage" of sammy. as a middle age couple we totally forgot how much patience "puppies" take. we recently turned the corner with potty training and at 4 months feel great about sammy's progress. |

| Beware Don't do it. She is nothing but a puppy mill. I have seen her kennels they are awful. She advertised that they are inside dogs, yes that is true, inside a kennel not a house. When some one is interested in purchasing one she cleans the puppies up and brings into house. I feel very sorry for all those little dogs. If you do not believe ask to visit the kennel that the dogs are in before buying. |

| looks like a bad breeder to me. i'd look on www.ytca.org for a breeder in your area that is actually a quality breeder or go to a rescue with www.petfinder.com |
