Deb is doing all she can, this morning she took the smallest of the three pups to the vet. He does not seem to be latching on and Daisy is starting to reject him it seems. I believe it is Orange, he's going to stay at the vets overnight to see how he does. Just pray for him. I hope he can pull through.

Tomorrow I will have a tough decision if he isn't doing any better.

Again Deb I know your trying as hard as you can, and I thank you for that. Your doing a great job like Kim said.

I am saying a little prayer to God (gather round everyone who wants to join):

Dear God, please watch over Orange and make him strong enough to become a healthy pup and spread your love around to all he comes to meet. Please continue to strengthen Blue and Purple. Please comfort and give strength to Steve, his girlfriend, Deb, Kim and Daisy during this great challenge...to guide them and help them through this trying time. Amen.

The vet did all they could to save orange. They put him on an oxygen mask, did numerous things, but he just didn't make it. I know this story is ending a little on the sad side.

The other two are still thriving, gaining good weight, and Daisy is doing good from what I hear. The puppy with the cleft pallet is doing fine the vet says.

We are grateful for the pups that we have and are thankful for everyone that came together and helped. This litter has been really rough.

Daisy will be fixed ASAP since there have been many difficulties.

Default Just wanted to say in closing for this thread...

that though we had a very sad ending for little Mr. Orange, I highly recommend the following books for prep for emergencies.

http://www.amazon.com/s?ie=UTF8&sear...-harris&page=1

Not only was Kimberly (feminvstr) a HUGE help, but having been able to watch the dvd enclosed with the puppy intensive care book really helped me to be prepared for doing things like the sub q. Thanks for the moral support, everyone.

I'm going to ask admin to close this thread, and i will post pictures of the other two little ones on a new thread. (it might take me till tomorrow to get pics done...I'm wiped out!)

aww I am sorry that little orange man didn't make it. I know you tried so hard. It happens sometimes no matter how hard you try. God just needed another little bundle of love with him. My Ginger never had babies but she loved them so much. I am sure she will be watching over these little ones.
