|  New puppies... I am very excited, Shayley just had a litter of 3 beautiful boys...1st 4.0 oz, 2nd 3.3 oz, 3rd 3.55 oz. She is doing great so far, very protective, happy and in love with her munchkins  She still has a small lump in her belly but I believe this is just her uterus but I called my vet to be sure and they said it might or might not be another pup and she could be resting in between puppies  If anyone has advice about time between puppies with no contractions I would love to hear it. More info: 1st pup delivered at 6:08am, 2nd at 6:38am, 3rd 7:49am and now she is resting with her boys...

| Congratulations on your litter of puppies. I would guess that it is just her uterus contracting down to size. Just watch for any infected looking discharge, fever, etc. She sounds like she did wonderfully! |
