| I try to make it more like small talk so it doesn't seem like I'm just drilling them with questions. Start with maybe have they been looking long, have they had a yorkie before, what turned them onto the breed. See if they have any kids and how old if they do. If they rent or own their place and if they rent that there aren't any problems with having a dog. How long they would leave it alone at home if they work and where it would be during that time. The main thing is just get a feel for the people more than anything. Good luck, I know its soo hard to let them go.

| Oh, I almost forgot, if they haven't had a yorkie before- or even if they have its a good idea to ask if they've researched the breed. Make sure they are aware Yorkies are usually harder to potty train, and prone to needing their teeth cleaned more than other dogs as an added expense and possible frustration.

| i don't sell to anyone unless they fill out an application on my website. Then, if I think it is a good home, I check their referencess, then i talk to them on the phone and get a good gut feeling. |
