| top of the line breeders Okay, so im not sure if anyone has ever started a thread about different yorkie breeders they have done business with and been really impressed. so ... here it is!!! could you guys let me know of any breeders who are just all around great and really have a passion for thier dogs? i just know that im going to be wanting another yorkie sometime in the near future. im so hooked!! cant have just one and i KNOW i rushed into getting pheobe. i could have done a lot more research for a breeder. i mean, where i got her from isnt that bad and theirs showlines in her background, and shes a great dog and i WUV HER. but next time im going to do much much more looking around. okay..so thats it i guess.. im just curious about who's out there and why they're so great.. lol

| My personal recommendation is someone I met here and am buying a puppy from as we speak she will be flying from California to Tenn to hand deliver my baby on March 11 and I could NOT be happier. She is a WONDERFUL person and truly loves her babies. I am sure there are lots of great breeders here..and beyond...but I am 110% impressed and totally happy with Deb (tiggerr36792) her website is http://www.dngpresleyyorkies.com/

| i met a lady @ a south jersey yorkie meet who is a breeder. her pups were the most beautiful i'd ever seen. my york was from her stud. if you want her name i'll email the host of the meetup and get her name. the funny part was i was at the meet and she recognized the bone structure of my york compared to her stud. i had never met her and bought my york from another breeder that used her to stud her dog. small world.

| i think this will be a good thread. we hear too often about poor breeders. it will be nice to see who everyone is impressed with. i am very curious myself.

| I can't actually personally recommend a breeder yet...there are several I'm interested in talking to, but I'll have to get to know them better before I know whether or not I'd buy from them or not. I think a good place to start is the YTCA's website http://www.ytca.org/breeder4.html I'm sure there are both good and bad there as well..you have to be cautious with all breeders.

| I agree Lacy'smom. I've been around a few years and there's only a couple I would talk to and consider buying for myself. I can't make any recommendations. But if I were to buy, (from someone on YT) these are two whom I really like everything about their breeding practices, wisdom and experience (and definitely what they breed for) YorkieRose (Pat) and Mardelin (Mary) Last edited by Susan123; 02-24-2008 at 07:11 PM. |

| Honestly, I won't be saying who the breeder is when I buy my next dog. I've seen too many people get burned from posting who their breeder is on YT. So whoever I decide to buy from, I'll keep to myself

| yes, I've read about puppies being bought from underneath people as soon as they post pictures of possibly getting one. And also misuse of private information or posts taken out of context. Some people having nothing better to do. Last edited by Susan123; 02-24-2008 at 07:44 PM. |
