| When I have a tail that appears to be infected. I check to see if it is swollen up any. If it is this is what has worked for me. I have a lil spray bottle of peroxide, I hold the puppy and put papertowels underneath the pup, spray some peroxide on the tail and let it sit for a few minutes. Then I dry it off and spray dermoplast on it. But make sure the dermoplast dries before putting back with mom. It has always worked for me. I don't put mine on antibiotics either.
