| ped I can not recall without counting how many are in a 5 gen...60 maybe??? You see there is more to it then CH in front of a name...you can have a breeder with a champion stud and from that they get quality bitches used in the line...perhaps a stud who is pointed by not finished...that accounts for some of the non-champion dogs/bitches.. If the 12 champions in the 4th and 5th, not so good...the first few gens can be pet quality now and not show..or the champions can be in generation 2 and 3, 4 (the offspring is the first gen) that would be 16 I think and if 12 were champions, that would be a terrific ped...it is not so cut and dry to look at the numbers only...where, is more improtant IMO Last edited by YorkieRose; 01-31-2008 at 04:08 PM. |

| Oh wow that is amzing and also lost me lol sorry oh and also so everyone knows i am not asking because of breeding I WOULD NEVER BREED not because i have anything against it just because i know nothing about it and it is just something i could never do i am just asking because i have heard so much about CH that i had to look and see what that even meant lol so i got nosey and looked my babies up and found that she had 12 total in her 3rd,4th and 5th gen. I know in the end it really means nothing to me because i love my sweet baby no matter what but i was just being curious and trying make since of it all thank you very much

| you want to see the champions in the first two to three generations. it only takes one poor breeder to ruin a wonderful pedigree. if the champions are in later part of generations, then it really doesn't mean that much to most breeders or show breeders. all akc dogs have come from champions.

| sam also has champions but they are in the fourth and fifth generation. go to my website and find my "Future Dam' ms. sadie, the pedigree that is on there is Sam's pedigree. She is a kid from a previous litter of Kandy and Ceeby so he has exactly the same pedigree. |
