Where can I get a good Stethoscope?

i just received one i ordered. it is sooo cheap, i can't even hear my own heartbeat.
i see lots on the web but i don't know which is a good one for a good price.

Look for a local surgical supply store....some pharmacies have them as well.

A lot of scrubs sellers have good quality stethoscopes. Just do a google search.

i just ck'd with my pharmacy and they do not sell them.

as far as googling for stethoscopes, they come in all makes and prices. from 9.99 to 500.00. i have no idea which would be good for my dogs.

I got mine from a local "scrubs" store and it's really nice. Any medical supply store will have them as well.

They lower priced ones will be just as good. They are medical grade so they will be fine.

i guess i am not making myself clear. what is the name of the stethoscope and how much did you pay? i just got one for about 30$ and it is no good.

if someone can give me a brand name i would really appreciate it.

I agree a scrubs/medical supply store would be a good place.
I like the brand littmann; very easy to hear out of in my opinion.

Not sure, I think the bell is smaller than the normal. I think the cardiac ones would be the best, however, I would just go with a normal one for your purposes.

I would also heck the return policy so if you don't like the soun quality you can return it.

As a retied nurse, I have two littman and they are exceptional. I also have a very very cheap one that is okay for the money but I love my littman.
i got them at a uniform store.
