| Litigation against Seaside Yorkies-looking for wronged ex- customers We have retained a lawyer in Miami, FL that on our (my husband & I) behalf has written to Seaside Yorkies in Miami asking that they honor their replacement guarantee. My deceased Nikki was purchased there in '06 and died 8/23/07. Since then we have asked for a replacement puppy (which is their guarantee) and have been promised twice, but they have not complied. I know that I was contacted in the past by Yorkie Talk members who were also past clients of theirs and have also had sick puppies, had received puppies with their ears cut, weight & size info promised incorrect, had still have not received their registration papers fom them, among other problems. IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN DOING THE SAME, PLEASE CONTACT ME - by posting below or in a private PM. I WANT THEM TO HONOR THEIR AGREEMENTS OR THEY NEED TO BE SHUT DOWN. This is their website: www.seasideyorkies.com Thank you!! Ines |

| I'm not a customer of Seaside but I just wanted to wish you luck in your suit....I do remember this breeder being discussed on here before and it was not good.... I do wonder if this breeder has a rep. of selling pups with problems would you be asking for more heartache getting another one from her?... Good luck again and I hope it's resolved quickly for you....

| Did your puppy die before the age of one?? I am so sorry for your loss...In my opinion, they should refund your money. I would not want another pup from them.

| I totally agree with you...no, she was a little over a year, Nikki was born 7/19/06 and had to be put to sleep on 8/23/07. We asked our attorney to demand a refund but she told us that legally the contract states a replacement puppy not a refund. Like I posted above, I hope they do not want to deal with us and just give us the refund. BECAUSE I AM NOT LETTING IT GO! Last edited by Ines3185lyorkie; 01-17-2008 at 11:03 AM. |

Donating YT 3000 Club Member | I'm sorry you're having this problem with that breeder. I read about issues with them before. I once checked their website when I was looking for my yorkie; thank God I didn't get it from them I hope everything goes fine and you get what you were promised. |

| pup Florida has strict lemon laws..I would go to small claims and get a refund. Who would want to risk getting another sick puppy? |
