| Double Registered Ok so the remale puppy i am looking at the Mother is both AKC and UKC and the father is UKC so the puppy can only be registered UKC is having a dog double registered a common thing ? also i have read the previous posts about AKC versus UKC (although i know its not a versus thing) and i was just wanting your opinion on a UKC registered pup who i will probably breed later. Is it hard to find UKC studs

| UKC is the only other registry in the U.S. I would consider using. Actually, if they had shows closer to me I would double register with them as well. In UKC they don't allow you to use handlers to show. I like that idea. I don't think you would have to hard of time finding UKC studs. You could also register yours there if they are AKC now. |

| I should clarify that the UKC I am writing about is United Kennel Club. Sorry, I know that so many have the same initials and didn't type out the name in full. |
