| belly As a rule at 5 1/2 to 6 weeks mine go from a flat belly to a plump belly...continue to grow until about 8 weeks and then level off and hold..belly may hang lower in previously bred girls, as the muscles are not as taut as the first time or so..and the number has some influrence...but I have seen huge bellys produce 2 or 3 and small bellys produce 5 or 6..some have more water/liquid..some have more puppies.. |

| when pregant? She will bloe u at last 3 weeks. I just had a litter born yesterday 12/10/07. My first litter ( I have 4 girls)all the puppies were to small to suckel, and tube feeding did not work. It can be very HEARTBREAKING.My baby girl had 8 puppies can you believe that her first 2 litters were 5. I have the boy in my home and I saw them lock at least 4 times. But they are all super small 4 inches long and 2oz 3 oz. They are the size of a full grown mouse.% boys and 3 girls. You seem to have alot of time to prepare. Have you made her a wheling box? and found a lace in your home really warm and awawy from any other dogs or children. She will be SUPER protective and my fight obr bite. Good luck!!! |

| Congratulations on your upcoming litter. Let us know when it comes close to the time so we can follow along with you, and send us pictures when she gets her little jelly belly.

| Abby will be upstairs in my bathroom, which is quiet and warm. We only have 2 cats that I will have to try and keep away. The one cat oliver and abby (the yorkie) have been best buddies growing up. They grew up together, but have already noticed that Abby snaps at oliver when he comes near me. So will have to watch that. The other cat is not the least bit interested in the dog. My kids are 14 and 17 so they will be a help. I have an older large crate that I will take apart and use the bottom for the whelping box. So, so far everything is comming along. Hope the dog cooperates. ha ha Thanks for all input. I really enjoy hearing about other peoples litters etc... It is amazing to have 8 puppies hope all are doing well. Thanks Deb
