| not eating What do you guys do when your yorkies go off their food. Abby is 26 days pg. if she is and quit eating in the morning a few days ago and hasn't yet started eating in the morning again. She was eating in the evening, but last night she didn't eat either. Tonight I fed her and she only ate a few bites. I don't want to start fixing special things and get her thinking if she doesn't eat her reg. food something better will come along. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Debbie

| its not abnormal for them to go off and on their feed this early into the pregnancy...make sure you mix her food with a high grade puppy food 2 weeks prior to her due date... all the best

Living My Yorkie Dream Donating Member | When my female was about that same amount of days PG, she too lost her appeitie and didn't seem to be eating much at all. All I can say is that her appetite WILL come back and she'll be eating plenty when it does!

| Well abby still doesn't seem interested in food yet. This morning she didn't eat anything, so this afternoon put some boiled chicken breast in her bowl with a little chicken broth and kibble. She picked out the chicken and left the rest. ha. She acts like she is hungry but when she eats she acts like it upset her stomach, belching and a sad look. hope it end soon. Deb:

| When Lola didnt eat while she was pregnant a friend gave me the idea to put some wet food in a sandwich bag and cut the corner and give it to them like pipping frosting! I usually had to put a little in her mouth first then she would usually start! Good luck |

| abby still doesn't want to eat in the morning. Sunday will be a week. How long do they usually go before they start eating again. She also threw up a couple of times this morning. So know why she didn't want to eat. I've had 2 kids and never had morning sickness so don't even know how long it lasts.
