| Tails? This is my first time yorkie litter and I was just wondering how much is the average cost to get tails docked and the dewclaws removed?? |

| average cost that depends on where you live and the vet you choose.I paid 40.00 per pup I had 4pups p[lus office visit and check up for mom all extra

| My vet charges 6.00 per pup to do tails and dews plus the office call. I do my own though as its less tramatic on the pups and mom. |

| The vet I once worked for charges $5 a puppy to dock tails and remove dewclaws.

| Our vet charges $3 and another vet in our area charges $5. One we used a long time ago charges $8.50 for first and $5 each additional. |

| my vet charges 22.00 office visit and then 15. ea. tail and then 8 for claws. another vet in this area charges 26.00 per puppy. Seem we are rather expensive here. I may call around to see what other vets are charging in my area. Deb

| I guess that I am out of the loop on the new and up to date. ha.....How do you do laser on tails and dewclaws? Do they use the laser beam instead of a knife? Is it quicker and less painful? Just wondering.
