| I usually use Duramane 5 Plus CV.(coronavirus killed) No Lepto. It is about double price what the regular duramane 5 is. I just bought some and it was $119. plus shipping overnight charges. Ended up being 138. for 25. I have also used the Vanguard. |

| Just a bit of info..... In September, me and my Tahlulah were ready to travel to Dallas for a dog show and she was due her annual vaccine....The vaccines I'd ordered hadn't arrived and I was due to leave.. I was about to go to a local vet to purchase a vaccine.....but, asked what manufactorer they used.....it was different than Vanguard......for some reason I decided to contact my vet back in Dallas to ask if there would be any adverse conditions using a different manufactorer....He informed me that switching could cause adverse reactions. Good thing my vaccines arrived......

There are others. Pet Supplies Delivered. petsuppliesdelivered.com I found that Revival Animal has better prices on their vaccines. Their customer service is so very helpful.

| OK! well what about kennel jec-2 for bordetella/parainfluenza because they have single use It says to vaccinate once and then every 6-12 mths and as this is my first and last litter do I need the extra? I only have three pups left one is gone already.

| Thank you mardelin and I will only use the kind I start with.I have had some bad experiences with the vets around me including a vet cutting my boy during the exam for his testicles but I had already shaved him down, there was nothing to take off and he just cut him open.and the tech lied for him I just said I will try and vaccinate myself.

| Vaccinate for Kennel cough at 8 weeks....then yearly......However, my show dogs every 6 months.....which I recommend if you have your dogs out in public.

| sorry! THEY ARE ALREADY 11WKS ABOUT TO TURN 12WKS I WAS PLANNING TO KEEP THEM ALL, AND VACCINATING AT 12 WKS, BUT MY FIANCE SAID ITS ME OR THE PUPS.SO I TOOK ONE IN TO THE VET FOR HIS VACCINES AND SOLD HIM TO A FRIEND.tHAT IS WHY I AM STILL SO LEARY ABOUT THE VETS I HAVE COME ACROSS HERE. THEY CHARGED ME 150.00 AND ALL I WANTED WAS A CHECKUP AND VACCINE, NOT TO MENTION HE WAS ONLY GIVEN A THREE WAY WHICH I WAS NOT EVEN AWARE THEY HAVE THREE WAY VACCINES. HE CHECKED HE SAID THE PUP WAS GIVEN A 7 WAY WITH LEPTO AND I SPECIFICALLY SAID NO LEPTO. MIND YOU HE WAS ALREADY DE-WORMED AT HOME AND TREATED WITH CAPSTAR TO BE SAFE.ALL TESTS CAME OUT NEGATIVE. I ALSO TOLD HIM NOT TO TREAT FOR WORMS AS HIS LAST DE-WORM WAS LESS THAN TWO WEEKS AGO.THEY JUST DO WHAT THEY WANT BECAUSE THEY ARE THE DR.S AND FEEL WE DON'T KNOW CRAP.

| I've yet to deworm.....I usually take in a stool sample from just one pup....if worms happen to show up then I'll deworm.. So, why deworm if you don't have to....it reaks havoc on their little systems. Reason is that my adults are on heart worm.....two weeks after pups are born....Mom has a heartworm med...it automatically deworms pups..... Sounds like you need to find yourself a breeder friendly vet...one that doesn't feel threatened...... A good vet will always keep breed specific breeders numbers in their rolidex files..... I've posted somewhere the new vet protocal for vaccines. 8 weeks 12 weeks and 16 weeks.....a booster a year after...

| you are right! seems alot of vets here in mich anyway either breed also or know someone who breeds.I always get asked a million questions about my dogs.where did you get the ,are they registered, how much did you pay. etc.. and I am just as outrageous as they are.I say the farthest place from where we are,yes akc, when the are not reg. at all and I tell them 2000 dollars.they usually shut up then.I say it all with a smile.I didn't know there was a required questionare for bringing my pets in for health checks and shots where was I and to think the one asking all the questions was to busy in my business to tell me he only had one testicle.
