| Since Studding seems to be the thread of the week maybe you gals/guys can help me out with this. My Vinnie comes from the lines of Ch Shadomountin Magic and Ch Shadomountin Steppin Up and Ch Steppin up Billy the Kid now....these lines do not start until his great grandparents I met a lady who had a beautiful girl yorkie. we started to discuss the two and their pedigress and come to find out she shared Ch Steppin up Billy the Kid. She also had Ch Lamplighter One & Only and Ch Everblues American Express. these lines also started into the 3rd generation. so....not such a great breeding after the champions but i still feel it is a good foundation to start with. She wanted to use Vinny as a stud which I agreed to. We discussed very much so his age, not proven, and I would like to wait longer but she felt it was ok. Dummy me agreed to studding Vinny at 10 months of age. She paid the fee, they had two ties. We kept in touch regulary. She took her bitch to the vet at 30 days and they stated they could not feel anything and felt she wasn't pregnant. She emailed me the information and I replied.....Let me know what you want to do, either your money back or another stud job. Since this day, she has never replied back to me. Her bitch was due on November 6 which has come and gone. I don't understand why she will not return my calls/emails. I am more than willing to give her money back or a 2nd stud. As far as I know, she could have been pregnant...I don't know??????? WHAT IS UP W THIS LADY? I really liked her.

| I wish I had her problems... I'm in the opposite boat! I did work for a breeder in exchange for stud service and ownership of a dog I had planned to show (she's beautiful). I had my girl (now 3yrs) studded by a proven 2yr old that I champed, he was so diluted my girl didn't get pregnant. After the breeding I found out that this male was used on two other females right before I got him, neither of them got pregnant either! Since that time that "breeder" stole the dog I had earned (right before Tradex, which I was going to show her at) and I don't get a second stud service on my girl. My lawyer is working on getting my dog back from him. I'm new to yorkies and only have one dog, a female that I champed. I want a litter in hopes to get another show dog, my girl is due to come into heat soon and I don't have a stud and don't know what to do about it? Alana

| stud service I have had clients, bitches miss...or they lost the litter and I give a free service if there are no live pups at 8 weeks...some people never came back, dropped off the face of the earth so to speak...better I owed them, then they owed me I guess..LOL There is no trying to understand people and money...some do not care..others have it to burn. I had a boarder who was just a doll baby..3 pound girl, her mom went away for two weeks and it turned into a month, then she asked me to care for her through Christmas..another month away...finally I never heard from her again...so I wind up with cutiest little sweetheart..barely a year old. I found her a good home and charged the new owner the cost of the boarding/vet care fee.. |
