| Crying pup yesterday the pups got their tails docked and dew claws removed ,ever since we got back from the vets last night the female pup has literally been crying off and on almost nonstop. Is this a normal reaction? She had it a little rougher than the male she had all 4 dewclaws removed ,the male only had the two .She is gaining weight fine, eating ok and pooing and peeing without problems. | It should not matter that she had 4 and not 2 removed. All of my male puppies always had 4 dewies because daddy had 4. I would call the vet this morning if she's crying nonstop.

| The puppy has since stopped crying like she was, seems back to the occasional crying out for mom .Not sure what it could have been but if it starts again I will be sure to call the vet. |

| My Wilma's pups had their tails docked/dew claws removed on Monday... I had one pup that seemed to cry forever also.... Just imagine how it would feel to have your thumbs or toes cut off (plus a tail!!) !!! Glad yours is doing better now.
