..☆..Tricks..☆..

Yesterday (4-25-08) Lyric perfected two tricks.
I havent given him a hand signal or anything
for sit. I pretty much have been telling him to sit since he came home when he is up on the couch or chair, or jumping around in his rubbermaid like crazy because he see's someone eating.

And he sits, My vet told me to make sure he learns that command so he wont jump down off the couch suddenly and bump his little head or break a leg.

(talk about making me paranoid but I know it happens)

*Actualy his breeder told me the day he came home to make sure he doesnt jump off the couch esp if I have a coffee table in front because her beloved yorkie did that bumped his head and they ended up having to put him to sleep after trying to keep him alive for three months*

His other trick is when you say "Lyric give kisses" He will touch his nose to yours and try to lick your mouth"-he gets all excited for that one and does it on command.

Today when he gets up from his nap I'm going to try to work on "lay down" and then after that I think I can teach him bang bang? I think it would be cute if he learns that now while he is little.

Speaking of naps, the little booger slept with me on the couch all night. I was so tired that I forgot/fell asleep without putting him in his rubbermaid.

oops..oh well he slept with me the first two nights he was home, so he is ok. I did have a lot of people ask me If I'm scared I'm going to roll over him being that he is tiny.

I wanted him to sleep with me because since the death of my last puppy, I have this fear of waking up and finding him not being able to breathe.

Thats pretty much why I havent gotten much sleep since he's been here and I just crashed last night.
