As the time gets near Scooters's heart surgery I am becoming more anxious. Am I doing the right thing? I hate that he will have to go through all of this but I want to give him a chance for a normal dog life. I love him so much even though we have only had him for a short time.
We meet with the surgeon on Monday and they will do all pre-op testing that day. If all goes well, surgery can be on Tuesday.

Dear Lord, please hear my prayers. I ask that You will guide us through this. I ask that You will give us strength. I ask that the doctors and staff will treat Scooter as if he were their little boy.
We will take this journey one step at a time, with You at our side guiding us.
