Any breeders in Taiwan? hi all, I am looking for a yorkie breeder in taiwan, I recently bought a yorkie in Taiwan from a pet store, really bad idea ... its been a lot of heartache and grief b/c he's been sick for a long time. Even though the pet store is taking care of all the expense thus far, its so emotionally difficult. That we have been considering askng for a refund and looking for another little one. Even though this is the alternative option it is a last option too, I have not yet given up on my little guy and pray and hope he'll be getting better, but it doesn't look good b/c he's been sick for 2 months now with little improvement. So if anyone knows of anyone I would like to know. Thanks! Camly

hi stivCoffee, you live in taipei? Cool! I live in Hsinchu. i got my lil guy from the petstore with a Puffer fish as part of its logo, xu hai? I am still learning chinese so I don't know how correct that is. but yea, he still on meds for parasites. when i got him, he had pneumonia and a collapsed trachea, so I had to take him back for them to take care of him. they guy was really helpful and nice though, but yea getting a dog from a pet store again! how old is your new puppy?! do take lots and lots of pics to share with pple here at YT! and hey maybe we could even have a play date with our yorkies.

my coffee is 2 months old. He was given to us by a friend's friend. But we can't find that guy anymore. I don't have coffee's papers or any info besides what is told to me. He had his first shot already so I'm waiting for another month to get his second shot. So far, he seems to be doing pretty fine. He eats and poops regularly. I know Taiwan's pet store have a pretty bad reputation for selling problematic dogs. That's why I'm so worried about Coffee. I'm just worried that I haven't detect anything wrong with him yet. Maybe I'm just an over protective father....

awww don't worry about being a over-protective yorkie parent! i think most yorkie parents, esp those on YT are just a little over-protective....BUT its hrad not to be when they are so small right? just be attentive and if something seems odd, don't over-react too much and just go to the vet for a little check-up. b/c yorkies are so little things can progress quickly... but don't worry! there's tons and tons of info on YT so you're off to a good start. welcome by the way! yea never buying a dog from a pet store EVER AGAIN! its just a bad idea anywhere in the world i think. kikko is 6 months old now, and just finished his meds last week and so far doing well. what do you feed your coffee by the way? I know some dog food brands available in the states i can't find here. and i heard eukanuba (which kikko ate at the pet store) is really bad, so i've switched to another food already.

this is a great question. I'm trying to find a good type of dog food too. I think he's got crappy food now which is causing his mouth to stink. please let me know when you find a good brand.
