| Mine...film I watched the documentary film Mine (on Netflix computer download) and I couldn't believe the selfishness of people who refused to return dogs to their owners after finding out the owners were looking for them. I understand the horror of some of the conditions some animals were living in (the fighting Pit Bulls) and yes them being rescued was a great thing, but for the companion animals I think it's more heartbreaking for the original owners and extremely cruel and selfish of the new owners, to not return them to their owners who had been searching for them and want them back. IMO Katrina victims both human and animal went through enough without the added heatbreak

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | I have never heard of this film, it sounds really tough to watch. I agree with your position - that some animals should not be returned to some owners. But companion animals who are loved, and merely lost/separated - especially by a natural disaster??? That is just heartbreaking .

| I would like to admit that not only for the dogs people are selfish, cruel and greedy, they would not let anything go from their hands which they find out for free. I have never about such documentary movie “Mine” and would love to watch but don't know where to get. Mistakes are the portals of discovery. Last edited by michaelhoffman; 05-11-2010 at 07:44 PM. |
