| I was sent this video link that shows "chained" dogs in the FL panhandle. It is not an appropriate treatment for any dog no matter the breed. Most are pits and you can only guess they have not been altered. There needs to be more legislation to address this type of treatment. |

| That was VERY difficult to watch but thank you so much for posting. I found this link concerning the efforts there. The proposed ordinance will be discussed in November. Please Help These Dogs

| I'm not sure of the source of this particular video, but there is a national group dedicated to the plight of chained dogs. They are called Dogs Deserve Better. Here's the link to their website... Dogs Deserve Better Home: No Chained Dogs!

| How sad... why own a dog if you plan on chaining it for for its entire life?!

| This is so sad. ![]() The image of the dog with the chain wrapped around and around again on the tree made me really upset. It reminded me of when Jimi and I take a walk he will get wrapped around a tree or a post and I have to unravel it for him. That dog has probably been wrapped around that tree, helpless, for days. He is a dog. He can't figure out how to unravel it and can't even move anymore. How could anyone do this to a poor animal?
