Banning Thread Dictator Donating Member | Eddie's 15 seconds of fame -- therapy dog program wins award Bursting with pride over this video and the award that came with it: Providence Alaska Medical Center's Pet Assisted Wellness Services (PAWS) just won the five-state Mission Leadership Award 2015, a HUGE honor for the program and the hospital. This is Eddie's seventh year as a therapy dog with the program, and Jillie is working on three years. We're just so excited because of the recognition this brings to therapy dog work. The video's on the long side, so if you wanna see Eddie, his 15 seconds of fame is at 2:20 and then a short spot at 7 minutes

| Congratulation Eddie & Mike, outstanding job, awesome video, something to, yes, be very proud of. I also love to see the small breed dogs in these programs to show ppl, little dogs can be as healing as the big guys. Size doesn't matter.

| Congratulations PAWS, Eddie and Mike! Great video. Eddie is darling. I love both the tissue trick and the little spot toward the end -- so sweet! Hard to believe Jillie is closing in on 3 years in the program. Seems like she started just yesterday. Keep up the great work spreading the joy.

Banning Thread Dictator Donating Member | Aww, thanks for the kind words! The reward is the smiles Eddie and Jillie bring, so when accolades like this come I don't know quite what to do! But Eddie and Jillie are integral parts of the program and I'm very proud of them. Jillie was filmed too but left on the cutting room floor.
