| We passed! Molli had her second attempt at the first part of the training to be a therapy dog. We failed our first attempt in the loose leash walking part so I made sure we worked on this and took her to the dog park this morning to get all her energy out, guess it worked, she passed! She did so well, I am really proud of her. The second part of the test is having 3 successful visits to diffrent facilities. I think she will do great a these. I am super excited to take her for her first visit and see how happy she makes everyone. I am hoping to have her go mostly to hospitals and work with special needs kids. Training for this hasn't been easy but I think it will be worth it, I think most of all Molli is going to love visiting all the people, I can't wait!

| How exciting! Congratulations!! Watching these precious pups "work", touching people's lives and making their days brighter, is a wonderous thing! After my mothers stroke when she was in rehab, they brought therapy pets around every Thursday evening.....all the patients really waited for those pets to arrive! It made their day! |

| Yes you'll make a big difference. Even people who aren't that fond of dogs in general seem to be drawn to them when they are in this kind of a situation. My Sister had a brain tumor and really looked forward to the therapy dog coming in. So much so that she asked to wait to be taken down for some testing just so she could see the dog. Made that much impact. And unlike me my sister really wasn't a dog person at all. Dog's really seem to tune in with people who are ill. It is something to watch. Congratulations! |
