I think she is still too young to go the complete night without going potty. I really think you will hear her, because they can really screech when they want to. As far as her sitting up when you go to the bathroom, they are very in tune to their owners, so, yes, I believe it's because she heard you. Can't you put her in the bedroom with you? My vet also said to cover the crate with material so she couldn't see me all the time, and that helped a lot. Good Luck!
