I brought Pixie home a month ago and she was 13 months old and Cali who is 20 months old was not happy. I was kind of surprised as Cali loves my older pom and the pom doesn't want to be bothered. One reason I got another dog was so Cali would have a playmate close in age. Now 4 weeks later they play/fight more but Cali still walks around like she is so unhappy. They do lay together. Pixie is much more aggressive in her playing and Cali is so laid back, but bigger,it looks and sounds like she is getting killed, but when I stop them Cali goes back for more. Just give them some time to work it out. |
