Ok -- the problem is when he is awoken in the night, if he just slept through all would be well but he is woken and he wants to use the conveniences..!! I have been through this too with previous dogs when my husband was working unsociable hours and always had to get up and let them out when they were woken.. after a while you go on automatic pilot and don't wake up unduly..!! Hope that helps... but as your pup gets older, it will not longer be a problem anyway in my opinion.. not sure what everyone else think?!! Ana xx
