Congrats on your new yorkie, she's a cutie! My Sassy had her first heat at 9 months old. The heat cycle lasts for 21 days. They will bleed heavily for the first 9-14 days and then the color starts to lighten up (yellowish color). My dog goes into heat every 7 months. Hope this helps you! |
