That website has excellent LP information, and we have been through two LP surgeries so if you have any questins please feel free to ask.

It struck me that I didn't put the complete thought down. NO, they don't have to be partially sedated if the vet can FEEL the luxaxtion. If the vet checks for it and DOESN'T feel it, and you want to be positive about it, then (as my vet described to me and it makes perfect sense) relaxation and I think an x-ray are necessary to determine.
