I brought both of mine to the vet. She first checked to see if it was kennel cough, but she said it wasn't. She said that it was nothing to worry about and that it should go away soon. But she also said to call her if the symptoms get worse.

She also said that some dogs (I don't know if she said only yorkies or just all dogs) if they aren't AKC might have an abnormality that causes them to cough. If the coughing doesn't go away, we will get them checked for that (one is AKC and one is ACA).

I would just say to monitor your babies. If you feel like it is getting worse, take them in just to be sure. I know that I am really paranoid about my babies being sick and have brought them to the vet several times only to find that it is nothing. But it is always better to be safe than sorry.
