you also can give him apple and carrots, they like that too for snacks, i'm glad that he found a wonderful adopted parents like you, who cares so much for him, i wish i can help you more but i'm kind of new too, my Pheobe like table food but i only give her apples, ck, cottage chesse, carrots, plain yogurt, but sometimes ,i finally find dog food that she likes (california natural, dry mix with can), after trying so many so you may have to try diferent kind (high quality of course) and see which one he likes.
