I don't know if the pet stores in your area has a vet service in them or not but in my area some do and usually it is much cheaper. That does sound like a lot to me too. How ever even here in GA there are some expensive vets. Check your yellow pages and see about alternatives. Also some pet stores sell the shots also and you might check that out too. Just make sure it is a good brand, Fort Dodge or Pfizer arei good ones, also you can get safe guard horse wormer and give 1cc.per 5 lbs of weight. It is the same thing as panicure(labled for the vets) It will get all worms if given for 3 days, you do have to come back in 10 days if the puppy has a lot of worms in order to get the eggs. Hope this has helped. I've been raiseing yorkis for about 20 years and have always come back to this wormer even when my vet said he had something new and better, I don't try the new and better anymore.
