I have been in the dog world a short time and have heard alot of GOSSIP. Just because someone states something about another breeder does not make it true! You keep referring to a certain group on YT, so if what you are stating is the truth you should state the names of the people from this certain group. I personally feel like you are talking in circles? |
Please re-read what I posted in the earlier threads. The baby will not be available until at least 12 weeks of age. The baby is not leaving to go to a new home until 12 weeks. This is a litter announcement. There is a puppy from this litter that will be able to be purchased. I do not know how to make things clearer to you. If this boy is around at 6 months of age and I consider him to be show qaulity he will be priced at $2,000.00
If he is placed as a pet- he will be able to leave at 12 weeks as a companion,
if someone wants to take a chance on him at 12 weeks up to six months he is a prospect. He will have a years health warranty Prospect means there is no guarantee of being show quality.
Six months of age and up he could be a show quality puppy if he would continue to stay with in the breed standard. If I place him as show it means that he can be finished under the correct conditions. Grooming ,Care handler and ETC. Would I replace a puppy that I placed as show and it was pet quality- YOU BET I WOULD. I want to be able to hold my head up and say that kid is out of my breeding. Look at that baby I am so proud of him/her
and the babies owner look at what they have worked to accomplish.
It is not unusual to have a puppy catch your eye and watch it grow as a potential buyer. People will contact you for a female for example- she can be darling- you keep the folks informed as to how the baby is doing. Send pictures and tell them if she is growing- if they want a companion what you think her size will be- if show or breeding- will she be large enough- what you do or do not like about the puppy. This helps the buyer make a better choice as to their needs and wants in a puppy.
Not every litter will have a puppy that is good enough to show or breed. As a breeder I only want the best that I can produce used for show and or breeding. If I did not have the adult males might I consider this male for myself- maybe. I can not keep every puppy- would like to. I am keeping this guys sister as my hopefull for next year. My handler looked at the puppies and felt that the female is what I need. I also have another litter that has 2 males- and one female. I am keeping the female from this litter also.
I am sorry that you feel that I talk in circles. I have tried to be adult to not come out and say- so and so said this about me. I am in hopes that the situation will resolve in the next few weeks. It hurts when people who have never been to your home tell others that you have over 100 dogs of different breeds. It comes back to you with so and so said this. I have been looking for those other breeds and the 90 dogs that I seem to have lost - still can't find them. LOL It hurts when people say that you don't work- cause you live off your dogs. If that was the case I would have starved-I have had two litters to date for the year. One born in June and one in July. It hurts when others tell that you have had 20 litters of puppies for the year. Can't find those puppies either. Try walking in my shoes for six months and listening to the wild stories they keep getting bigger and wilder. I kept silent for many months-
