All my bows are attached to baby barettes now. I started with a few rubber bands but that could break so I shifted. Of course, everyone that orders my barettes I still throw in a couple of rubber bands in case they don't have any

As for the leash, it is roughly about 50"-51" from end to end. The standard is 48" but I think they don't include the clamp in their measements so It is about the same as the standard
