Bet you didn't know dogs could laugh!
Owned by Jarrod and Shelsea Gruber, this photogenic pooch is Cella, a Chihuahua/Yorkshire terrier mix who was conceived by accident.
Cella's parents, both pure breeds, were star-crossed lovers, it seems.
"My mother-in-law let down her guard," said Jarrod Gruber, 29. "My wife wanted a pure bred Chihuahua, but Cella is what we got instead."
Cella, born in November, is a real character.
"She's curious, fearless, smart and into everything," Jarrod said. "She loves to step on the float in the pool. She hops like a bunny in the yard. She doesn't walk anywhere. She's always going at 90 miles an hour."
Cella's best friend is the Grubers' other dog, Dingo, a 7-year-old Labrador/chow mix.
"We have a sunken living room," Jarrod said. "She'll hear Dingo come in through the dog door. Cella will crouch like a lion, butt in the air, and lunge at Dingo, grabbing her by the ankle."
Dingo couldn't care less. She doesn't even mind when Cella uses her tail to play tug-of-war.
It's ironic that when the Grubers walk their dogs, people are intimidated by 68-pound Dingo, when it's really 4-pound Cella they should fear.
"Cella is the aggressor; the nut in the house," Jarrod said. "Dingo has a heart of gold. She's the most loving dog in the world."
