The temp should continue to drop and then it will slowly start going back up again. When this happens, labor should begin within 24 hours. Keep a close eye on her and don't let her out of your site. They do start the braxton hick contractions but when they have the "tail-raising" labor with contractions, a pup should appear within 30 minutes.
Have all emergency vet numbers on hand. Don't let your girl go much longer than 30 minutes of pushing without producing a pup. |
