Tom was being interveiwed by Diane Sawyer and he jokingly told her (and it was a joke, he made that perfectly clear) that the 'next thing he would be doing is "eating the placenta". It was his way of demonstrating how ridiculous the press/media have been about this whole baby thing and the "silent birth", etc. He says that the silent birth was reported incorrectly. Kate was going to be allowed to make noise, request a epidural, and do whatever she needed to do during labor. It was the rest of the people there that were to make it as quiet as possible and to eliminate the "kaos" that sometimes ensues during childbirth.
I think Tom would do better being more "silent" about his life. He would come off a little less strange. I think it's his evangelistic demeanor about Scienctology that is making him look worse, than what he really is. |
