I have a question for you. Wasn't this puppy vet checked prior to being sold for $1800? If he was checked, the vet should have found this at that time as this is a genetic defect and the puppy should never have been sold for that price!!! If this was a puppy of mine, obviously this was the breeder's error, I would give a refund or a new baby. I have a male yorkie with the same thing in his rear right leg and my vet says he should not be used for breeding because this will make it worse and pass it on to the pups. Hope this helped!
