great thread! i manage an optomestrists office and we are dealing with the brunt of this. we NEVER recommended Renu in the first place, so none of patients were really affected, but we have been getting tons of phone calls as to what to use instead. Two brands that we suggest arre OptiFree or Complete. They all say no rub, but please remember to rub your contacts lense to prevent protein build up. also, be advised that saline solution DOES NOT disinfect. lol thanks for listening to my public service annoucement!!
