You may want to check with your vet and see if perhaps he is having some kind of reaction. None of my animals have ever reacted like what you described w/ Frontline. Btw, my vet suggested putting it on right before bedtime so that's what I do. They also said to get it as close to the skin as possible, but NOT to rub it in in any manner.
